Cubot has released a new terminal Cubot X17S, which is similar to Cubot X17. Now i will introduce them to you briefly and the comparison between them.

Cubot is a Chinese company and these two models are both budget phone with a 5 inch, 1080p screen and 4G support.
Cubot X17 looks like a sleek, decent and stylish phone. The glass curves into the plastic edging and the side bezels are thin. Metal volume and power buttons can be found on the right-hand side, a headphone jack on top and microUSB on the bottom. On the left is a dual SIM tray which can accept a nano SIM, and a micro SIM or microSD card, depending on whether you want to use two SIMS or add up to 32GB to the 16GB of internal storage. On the back is a metal panel flanked by plastic at the top and bottom. In the top section is a protruding 16Mp camera with dual-LED flash and at the bottom a single speaker, which is reasonably loud, if lacking in bass.
As to the Cubot X17S, it looks very similar to Cubot X16. The Cubot X16 is designed around a 4.1mm thick zinc alloy frame, with scratch-proof glass at the front and back. At the top you’ll find the earpiece, selfie cam, light and proximity sensors, 3.5mm audio port, and a notification LED. Everything looks good, and the finish is really good. Moving to the sides, the 4.1mm thick alloy frame looks and feels impressive. The SIM tray is on the left while the volume rocker and power button are located on the right. Besides, the micro USB port is cantered at the bottom.
VERDICT
I think the X17s is the combination of Cubot X16 and Cubot X17, therefore, if you like the appearance of x16 but want a better specification you can choose Cubot X17s. However, in my opinion, if you want a 3+16GB, you can just choose the Cubot X17, otherwise, you can choose the smaller 2+16GB storage of Cubot X16, which is no different for me.
