Cubot S Series of smartphone – Cubot S550 and Cubot S600

Cubot has many different serieses of smartphone and the company recently has released two smartphones of S Series. They are Cubot S550 and Cubot S600.

For those big screen size lovers, the 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels in Cubot S550 is supposed to your better choice. Like many Chinese phones, there is a black border around the screen when the phone screen is on, but you can hide this effect somewhat if you choose the black model. The fingerprint sensor is on the back. 



The processor of Cubot S550 is same as Cubot S600’s MTK6735 Quad-core 1.3 GHz. And it has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, and Android Lollipop 5.1. The device also performs solidly in gaming benchmarks with its Mali-T720 graphics processing unit. Different from the S600, the S550 is either Dual SIM or Single SIM + SD Card. The phone also supports OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, Wifi(802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n), and 3000mAh battery. Moreover, it employs 8.0MP (SW 13.0MP) Mega-pixel autofocus CMOS sensor, and 5.0MP(SW 8.0MP)Front Camera. And the camera also supports Auto Focus, HDR, Panorama, Beauty mode, Face Detection, Smile capture functions. 

The Cubot S550 supports 4G LTE Bands 1 (2100MHz), 3 (1800MHz), 7 (2600MHz) and 20 (800MHz). The followings are the frequency:

Cubot S600  $131.99 

Cubot S600 features a 5.0 inch JDI IPS display with resolution of 1280x720 pixels capacitive screen(5-Points) and is housed in a Titanium and Zinc Alloy metal frame. It is available in Black, Gold and White color options. Under the hood, there’s Mediatek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHZ. Besides the 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM, the device also has a rear facing Samsung-made 16MP camera with Phase Detection AutoFocus(PDAF), and 8MP front facing camera for selfies, a fingerprint sensor, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and 2700mAh battery.
