Doogee is a rising Chinese smartphone OEM that is becoming popular with each passing day thanks to products such as Doogee X5 Pro, and Doogee F5. However, today we have a powerful device from the company called Doogee F3 Pro. As the name suggests, the smartphone is packed with impressive hardware, but does its $159.99 price tag do justice with all the hardware and features that is packed in to it.
Doogee F3 Pro’s design and appearance are all top notch. The front camera sensor has its own unique color combination, which looks even better in distinguishing the body of the smartphone and the camera lens. A combination of both metal and glass makes Doogee F3 Pro a masterpiece in its own right, and that is what we should expect from premium smartphones feature. Furthermore, the rear of the device is even prettier to look at and shares the same traits as the front side of the device.
The rear side of the smartphone is not removable but the device does provide you with sufficient flexibility thanks to two SIM card slots, which will have to be reduced to a microSIM form factor in order to fit. Additionally, there is 16GB of internal storage and Doogee F3 Pro has a microSD card slot that allows you to expand your storage up to 64GB. There is no physical home button; just capacitive buttons that are extremely responsive. A 3.5mm jack is present right at the top, while a microUSB charging port is right at the bottom.
Doogee F3 Pro: Display and resolution
Doogee F3 Pro has a screen size of 5.0 inches and a resolution of 1080p. The visibility of the content was exceptional, and the display was extremely vibrant. Image quality would not decay if we tilted the screen. In addition to a 1080p display, we were thrilled to see that the device is running Android Lollipop 5.1 and it does not lag in any manner whatsoever. Since it is running an updated Android platform, there is a high probability that Google will release a compatible update of Android Marshmallow later on in the year.
The stock interface delivers much better in functionality as compared to what you normally get to see in Android handsets. The interface is very simple in aesthetics and design and in order to deliver the most amount of performance, it features a flat design, with strong yet ‘not too flashy’ app icons that make the interface as smooth as butter.
Doogee F3 Pro: Camera performance
The rear camera is 13MP, and it is thoroughly impressive in terms of the quality of images being snapped. The only thing that we missed having from the front camera sensor was that it was void of a LED flash, which would make images appear brighter in low light conditions. Coming to the image results of the primary camera sensor, we were amazed to see the image quality of the rear shooter, as you will see from the images that have been posted below.
Doogee F3 Pro: Performance (Processing and connectivity)
We fired up AnTuTu and Geekbench to see how the device would fare when pitted against the remaining competition and we have to say that the smartphone might have missed its mark, but it is still able to achieve a satisfactory score, as you can see in the image below.
Doogee F3 Pro not only packs an octa-core processor running at a speed of 1.3GHz (Cortex-A53), but the custom interface features a flat design, and has been optimized for performance. Coming to the connectivity side of things, we fired up the 4G connection and immediately ran a speed test to see what kind of results we would get.
Doogee F3 Pro: Battery life measurement
Doogee F3 Pro does not fit that category thanks to its 2,200mAh cell. We tested this out with the screen brightness of the smartphone set to 100 percent. In this way, you will be able to experience the worst case scenario when you purchase Doogee F3 Pro. Despite the small battery, we were impressed to see that the device is able to last a whole day while connected to the Wi-Fi network and while engaged in casual web browsing. However, 3G and 4G modems are much more power hungry as compared to Wi-Fi adapters, and Doogee F3 Pro was only able to last 11 hours on 3G, and 7 hours on 4G.

Except the battery life, Doogee F3 Pro happens to be remarkable phone when it sells at the price of $159.99. Its interface, button placement, performance, and best of all, build quality were all top notch.
